What we install
The glass front of a commercial building
A storefront is the aluminum-framed glass wall at street level, the part customers walk up to and through. We install the whole system, the framing and the glass together. Where that glazed wall carries up the face of the building above street level, the scope becomes curtain wall.
- Aluminum storefront framing. The framed glass system across the front, in the finish and sightline the design calls for.
- Entrance doors. Framed glass doors and all-glass entrances with the closers and hardware to run them. See commercial doors.
- Sidelites and transoms. The fixed glass beside and above the doors.
- Vestibules. An inner-and-outer entry to hold the conditioned air at the door.

We set the glass the job calls for: insulated units for the thermal break, low-E coatings to cut the solar heat a west-facing front takes in this valley, laminated or tempered where safety glazing is required at a door or a low panel, and spandrel where the wall hides structure. Where the opening sits in a rated wall, it takes a fire-rated assembly instead. We glaze to the performance on your drawings, we don’t guess at the numbers. Storefronts are our own glass scope, self-performed, not brokered out, the same as the rest of our commercial glazing. We’re licensed Nevada C-8 with an unlimited bid limit, and we cut and fabricate glass in our own shop, so a field change or a breakage doesn’t wait on a supplier.
