What we self-perform

Start here, because it’s the question a general contractor actually has.

We cut and fabricate our own glass in our shop on Fremont; tempered units are ordered made-to-size. Cutting our own means shorter lead times and one company accountable for the glass from measure to install. Film work we subcontract to a long-standing installer. Everything else we self-perform: storefront systems, curtain wall, glass partitions, ADA door hardware, glazing and reglazing, caulking and sealants, plus the glass cutting and fabrication in our own shop. ADA operators and structural silicone we deliver and stand behind. We don’t temper in-house; tempered glass is ordered in, made to size.

License: Nevada State Contractors Board C-8 glass and glazing, number 0004490A, unlimited monetary limit, active. Glazing Las Vegas since 1953.

Insurance: $2M each occurrence, $4M general aggregate, $4M products and completed operations, $1M umbrella, $1M workers compensation, $250K rented equipment. Waiver of subrogation in place.

Bonding: bonded. Bonding capacity available on request.

Commercial glass FAQ

How fast can you get out for a broken commercial window?

For a board-up, same day, usually on site within the hour. Replacing the glass takes longer, because most commercial glass is made to order: tempered, laminated and insulated units have to be fabricated. So we board it first, measure it the same visit, and tell you the real lead time rather than a hopeful one.

Do you work on commercial buildings or just homes?

Both, under the same license, the same shop, and the same standard. Commercial is storefronts, office partitions, curtain wall, ADA door hardware and emergency board-up. Residential is windows, shower doors, mirrors and custom-cut glass. Same license covers both.

Are you licensed and bonded?

Yes. Nevada State Contractors Board license C-8 unlimited, number 0004490A. We’ve been glazing in Las Vegas since 1953. Bonded and insured, with bonding capacity available on request, and we’ll email you the certificate before you commit to anything.

Do you do emergency board-up after hours?

Yes, any hour. We secure the opening, clear the glass, and document everything for the claim, then handle the permanent glass. See Emergency Board-Up.

What’s your lead time on made-to-order commercial glass?

Made-to-order commercial glass runs about two weeks. Vendor delivery drives the schedule, so we confirm a firm date at measure. Tempered, laminated and insulated units have to be fabricated. We measure first and give you a real date rather than a hopeful one. For an emergency, we board it up the same day and the permanent glass follows.
