Anti-graffiti film in Las Vegas

A clear sacrificial film over your glass, mirrors and polished metal. When a surface is tagged, etched or scratched, the film is peeled off and replaced, not the glass. We spec the film and run the job; a long-standing installer applies it; Silver State is the licensed C-8 glazier of record.

How it works

The film takes the damage, not the glass

Anti-graffiti film is a clear layer bonded to the face of the glass. It reads like plain glass, no tint and no haze. It’s built to be sacrificed: it takes the spray paint, the scratch or the acid etch, and the glass underneath stays clean.

  1. A surface gets hit. Tagging, scratching or acid etching lands on the film, not the glass.
  2. The damaged film comes off. The installer peels the marked section away.
  3. Fresh film goes on. A new sheet is applied and the surface is clear again. No glass to order, no board-up.

Where it goes

Surfaces worth protecting

Anti-graffiti film pays off wherever the same glass gets hit again and again. In this valley that means the busy commercial corridors, Downtown and Fremont Street among them, and any property that sees repeat vandalism.

  • Retail storefront display glass
  • Restaurant and bar front glass
  • Gas station and convenience-store glass
  • Transit shelters and kiosks
  • Elevator interiors and polished metal
  • Public and commercial restroom mirrors

Who does the work

Speced by us, applied by our installer

Film is the one product we don’t apply with our own crew. Silver State specs the right film for the surface and manages the job, a long-standing installer we’ve worked with for years applies it, and Silver State stays the licensed C-8 glazier of record. You deal with one company, and the glass work behind it is ours.

After a hit

Replacing the film is fast

When a surface is vandalized, the installer peels the damaged film, cleans the glass and applies a fresh sheet, usually in well under an hour per panel, with film kept on hand so there’s no wait for material. Compare that to a glass replacement, which means measuring, ordering and a lead time of days to weeks. For a property that gets hit often, a standing agreement with set replacement pricing takes the friction out of each call.

Questions

Anti-graffiti film FAQ

How many times can the film be replaced?
As many times as you need. Each time, fresh film goes onto the same glass. The glass itself is never touched, so the cycle can keep going as long as the glass underneath is undamaged.
Does it work on mirrors and metal?
Yes. The film bonds to polished stainless, chrome and mirror as well as glass. Restroom mirrors and elevator panels are common jobs for it.
Can acid etching be undone?
If the surface is filmed, yes. Acid etch damages the film, not the glass beneath it, so peeling and replacing the film clears the damage. Bare, unfilmed glass that’s been etched has to be replaced.
Does the film change how the glass looks?
No. It’s optically clear, with no meaningful loss of light or visibility. We’re licensed Nevada C-8 number 0004490A and rated 4.9 stars across 400+ Google reviews.

Protect the glass that keeps getting hit

Tell us the surfaces and we’ll spec the film and quote it. Replacing film costs a fraction of replacing glass.
