Silver State Glass has glazed Las Vegas since 1953, the oldest glazing company in the city. Nevada C-8 with an unlimited bid limit, insured to commercial limits, self-performing the glass scope, cutting and fabricating in our own shop. Family run, woman-owned and veteran-owned.

Insurance
Insured to commercial limits.
A certificate of insurance goes out before you commit to anything, usually the same day you ask. Waiver of subrogation in place.
Bonding capacity and experience modification rate are available on request and confirmed during prequalification.

What we self-perform
We self-perform the glass scope.
The following is our own crew, on our own schedule.
Storefront systems
Aluminum storefront, entrances, sidelites and transoms.
Curtain wall
Stick and unitized systems, and glass replacement in an existing wall.
Glass partitions
Office demountables, sliding and pivot glass doors, acoustic glass.
ADA door hardware
Operators, actuators, closers and pull-force corrections on existing openings.
Glazing and reglazing
New glass set, failed units pulled and reglazed in place.
Caulking and sealants
Weatherseal, wet glaze and joint sealants on building glass.
Structural silicone
Structural silicone glazing on the systems that call for it.
Cutting and fabrication
Glass cut, edged and fabricated in our own shop.
Subcontracted: window film only, through an installer we have worked with for years. Everything else on the list is our own crew.
Tempering: we cut and fabricate in house, but we do not temper. Tempered glass is ordered in, made to size.

Cutting, edgework and fabrication happen at our shop on East Fremont Street, on our own schedule.
Controlling the fabrication queue is what protects a construction schedule. A field dimension change or a breakage does not go to the back of a supplier’s line.

Occupied and phased work
Most of our work is in buildings that never close.
- Night, weekend and holiday shifts, priced as such rather than discovered later.
- One opening open at a time, temporary closure and barrier in place before the glass comes out.
- Phasing by elevation, floor or wing, sequenced to your operations calendar.
- Badging, background checks and site-specific safety orientation as required.
