What size bathroom mirror do I need?

Do bathroom mirrors need special glass?

Standard plate glass mirrors work well in bathrooms. We seal the edges on all bathroom mirror installations to protect the mirror backing from moisture, which is the main cause of edge deterioration in bathrooms. A properly installed and sealed mirror will last for decades.

Can you cut a mirror to fit a specific wall space?

How do you hang a bathroom mirror without clips showing?

We use a French cleat system or J-channel mounting that hides the hardware behind the mirror for a clean look. Clips are also an option if you prefer them visible, and we carry clips in chrome, brushed nickel, and matte black to match your fixtures. We discuss the mounting method during the quote.

A mirror sized to your wall

Builder-grade mirrors come in a box size and get clipped up. We cut a mirror to your actual vanity or wall, finish the edge and install it, so it fits the space instead of the space fitting it.

Vanity mirrors. Cut to the counter, single or his-and-hers, edge-finished clean.
Wall-to-wall. One large mirror across the vanity wall, or set to the exact run you want.
Shapes and cutouts. Arched tops, notches for sconces and outlets, radius corners, cut to your template.

How you want the edge and the glass

Polished edge. A clean, smooth frameless edge, the common look for a modern bath.
Beveled edge. An angled, polished border for a more finished, traditional look. Bevel work goes to a specialist we use, with a fast turnaround.
Hard-water coating. A coating ordered on the glass that keeps the mineral spots our water leaves from etching into the mirror over time.

Polished or beveled edge?

Polished is the clean, modern frameless look. Beveled adds an angled, finished border for a more traditional feel. Both are frameless. We’ll show you the difference.

What’s the hard-water coating for?

Las Vegas water is hard, and over time the mineral spots it leaves can etch into a mirror or a shower glass. A coating ordered on the glass keeps the surface easier to wipe clean and slower to spot.
