Silver State Glass & Mirror is Las Vegas’s expert in custom shower door installation, replacement, and repair. From frameless glass shower enclosures to sliding tub doors, we design, measure, fabricate, and install every type of shower glass system for homes across the Las Vegas Valley. Every shower we build is custom, measured to your exact space, built with premium hardware, and installed by experienced glaziers who specialize in shower glass.
Your shower is one of the most used fixtures in your home, and the glass matters. Cheap shower doors leak, sag, develop mold along failing seals, and cheapen the look of your bathroom. Our installations are built to last, heavy-duty glass, commercial-grade hardware, proper waterproofing, and precision fitment that eliminates leaks from day one.

Shower Door Types We Install
We install every configuration of shower glass. Your bathroom layout, personal style, and budget determine which option is the best fit, and we help you decide during our free in-home measurement consultation.
Frameless Shower Doors
Frameless shower doors are the premium standard in modern bathroom design. No bulky metal frames, just clean, heavy glass panels (3/8″ or 1/2″ thick) supported by minimal hardware. The result is a sleek, open look that makes your bathroom feel larger and showcases your tile work. Frameless enclosures require precise measurement and expert installation because there is no frame to hide imperfections. That is exactly what we specialize in. See our dedicated frameless shower doors page for glass thickness options, hardware choices, and design ideas.
Semi-Frameless Shower Doors
Semi-frameless shower doors use a frame around the outer edges of the glass panels but leave the door itself frameless. This gives you a cleaner look than a fully framed system while providing additional structural support, and at a more accessible price point than full frameless. Semi-frameless is an excellent choice when you want the look of frameless without the full investment. Details on our semi-frameless shower doors page.
Sliding Shower Doors (Bypass)
Sliding shower doors, also called bypass doors, are the ideal solution for bathtub/shower combos and bathrooms where a swinging door is not practical. Two or more glass panels slide past each other on a track, giving you full access to the shower without requiring clearance space for a door swing. We install both frameless sliding systems and traditional framed bypass doors. Learn more on our sliding shower doors page.
Walk-In Shower Glass (Fixed Panels)
Walk-in showers, also called doorless or curbless showers, use fixed glass panels without a door. You walk directly in and out of the shower through an open entry. This is the ultimate modern luxury look, popular in master bathroom remodels and high-end new construction. Fixed panel configurations include single panels, L-shaped returns, and neo-angle designs. See our walk-in shower glass page for layouts and design options.
Pivot Shower Doors
Pivot doors swing open on a top-and-bottom pivot hinge rather than a side hinge. This allows the door to swing both inward and outward, and works well for shower openings that are too narrow for a sliding system. Pivot doors are available in both frameless and semi-frameless configurations.
Steam Shower Enclosures
Steam showers require a fully sealed glass enclosure to contain steam and maintain temperature. We build steam shower enclosures with proper sealing, ventilation considerations, and transom panels that create a complete seal from floor to ceiling. If you are building a steam shower, the glass enclosure must be designed specifically for steam, standard shower doors will not work.
Shower Glass Options & Customization
Every shower enclosure we install is custom. Here are the options you choose from during your consultation:
Glass thickness: 3/8″ (standard frameless) or 1/2″ (premium frameless, heavier, more substantial feel). Semi-frameless and framed systems typically use 1/4″ or 5/16″ glass.
Glass type: Clear, ultra-clear (low-iron for zero green tint), frosted/obscure (privacy), rain glass (textured pattern), grey tint, or bronze tint.
Hardware finish: Brushed nickel, chrome, matte black, oil-rubbed bronze, satin brass, polished brass, and polished chrome. We match hardware to your bathroom fixtures.
Hardware type: Hinges (wall-mount or glass-to-glass), clamps, U-channels, header bars, support bars, towel bars integrated into the glass door, and knobs/handles.
Coatings: We offer protective glass coatings that repel water, soap, and mineral deposits, keeping your glass cleaner longer and dramatically reducing cleaning effort.
Shower Door Repair & Replacement
Already have a shower enclosure that needs work? We handle all shower glass repairs and replacements:
Replacing cracked or chipped shower glass. Fixing leaking enclosures, resealing, adjusting panels, replacing worn hardware. Replacing outdated framed shower doors with modern frameless glass. Replacing corroded or failed hardware, hinges that sag, clamps that slip, handles that are loose. Upgrading from a shower curtain or cheap builder-grade door to a custom glass enclosure.
If your existing custom shower enclosure needs repair, adjustment, or a hardware upgrade, we can handle it without replacing the entire system.
Our Shower Door Installation Process
Step 1, Free in-home consultation and measurement. We come to your home, assess your shower space, discuss your design preferences, and take precise measurements. We help you choose glass type, thickness, hardware finish, and configuration.
Step 2, Custom fabrication. Your glass is cut and finished to exact specifications. Tempered glass is fabricated to your measurements, all holes, notches, and edges are completed before tempering, because tempered glass cannot be modified after the tempering process.
Step 3, Professional installation. Our installers mount all hardware, set the glass, align and level everything, apply waterproof sealing, and test the enclosure for proper operation and water containment. We clean up completely and walk you through care and maintenance.
Typical turnaround from measurement to installation is 7-14 business days, depending on glass type and complexity.
Why Las Vegas Homeowners Choose Silver State for Shower Glass
We specialize in shower glass. This is not a side service for us, it is a core part of our business. Our installers have years of experience specifically in shower enclosure installation.
Custom everything. Every shower is measured and built for your specific space. No prefabricated kits, no standard sizes forced to fit. Your enclosure fits your shower perfectly.
Premium hardware. We use commercial-grade hinges, clamps, and channels that will not sag, corrode, or fail. The hardware matters as much as the glass, cheap hardware ruins expensive glass.
Warranty and support. We stand behind our installations. If something needs adjustment after installation, we come back and make it right.
Areas We Serve
We install custom shower doors and glass enclosures throughout the Las Vegas Valley, including Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Green Valley, Anthem, Mountains Edge, Southern Highlands, and Centennial Hills.
Frequently Asked Questions About Shower Doors
How much do frameless shower doors cost in Las Vegas?
Frameless shower door pricing depends on the size of the opening, glass thickness, hardware finish, and number of panels. Most installs in Las Vegas run between $900 and $2,500. Single-door enclosures on standard openings sit at the lower end, while large multi-panel custom enclosures with premium hardware run higher. Call (702) 382-1400 for a free in-home estimate and exact pricing for your space.
How long does shower door installation take?
Most installations take two to four hours on install day. The full process from your first call to finished work is typically seven to fourteen business days, with fabrication being the main timeline driver. We measure first, build your glass to exact dimensions, then return to install.
What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless shower doors?
Frameless uses thicker glass with no metal frame around the panels, just minimal hardware. Semi-frameless has a frame around the fixed panels but leaves the door panel itself unframed. Frameless is the cleaner premium look. Semi-frameless costs less and still looks significantly better than a fully framed system.
Can you replace just the glass in my existing shower enclosure?
In most cases yes. If your hardware and mounting points are in good shape, we can replace cracked or outdated glass panels without touching the frame. We check the hardware condition during our free consultation and tell you whether glass-only replacement or a full swap makes more sense.
Do frameless shower doors leak?
A properly installed frameless shower door does not leak. The key is precision fitting, correct glass panel angles, and sealing every connection point where glass meets wall or floor. If your current frameless door is leaking, it was almost certainly installed incorrectly, not a problem with frameless doors in general. We can diagnose and fix it.
What glass thickness should I choose for a shower door?
For frameless shower doors, 3/8 inch glass is the standard and works well for most openings. Half-inch glass is heavier with a more premium feel. For semi-frameless and bypass sliding systems, 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch is standard because the frame handles the structural support.
How do I keep shower glass clean?
Squeegee after each use and clean weekly with a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals. We offer a protective coating that repels water, soap, and mineral deposits, which cuts your cleaning effort significantly and keeps the glass looking clear longer.
Can you install a shower door on a bathtub?
Yes. Sliding bypass doors, pivot doors, and hinged doors all work on bathtub and shower combos. We measure your tub configuration and recommend the best option for your space and how you use the shower.
