Back-Painted Glass Las Vegas

Back-painted glass / Las Vegas

Back-painted glass in Las Vegas

A pane of glass with color on the back, installed glass-face-out for a smooth, high-gloss wall. It replaces a tile backsplash or a wall panel with one clean surface, no grout to scrub. We measure, back-paint it in our own shop or order it colored to spec, and install it.

Where it goes

What people use it for

Back-painted glass gives you a smooth, glossy surface with no grout lines. It suits any wall that takes moisture, heat or heavy cleaning.

  • Kitchen backsplashes. The most common job. One glass surface behind the counter and stove, wiped clean, no grout to stain.
  • Bathroom walls. Behind a vanity or as an accent wall. Glass doesn’t hold moisture, so it won’t grow mildew the way grout does.
  • Accent walls. A full or partial wall of colored glass in a home or an office, for a bold, glossy finish.
  • Commercial spaces. Restaurant and bar walls, hotel lobbies, retail and office feature walls that need to look sharp and wipe down fast.

Color

Any color, matched to your spec

Bring a paint chip, a fabric swatch, a Pantone number, an RAL number or a photo, and we match the color. A Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams color from a room you already have works too. We sign off a sample with you before the panels are ordered.

White, black and gray are the most-asked colors for a modern kitchen, they keep a space bright and reflect light. But the color is open, so pick what fits the room.

How it works

Tempered to size, then finished our way or yours

Back-painted glass is tempered, and tempered glass can’t be cut or drilled once it’s made, so the glass is ordered tempered to its finished size, the same as any tempered piece we handle. From there the color goes on one of two ways, and we’ll steer you to the one that fits the job:

  • Back-painted in our own shop. We paint the back of the glass to your color in house, then install it. Full control of the match, and a fast turn.
  • Ordered as colored glass. Or we order the panel already colored to spec from the supplier and install it. For some colors and finishes that’s the better route, and you get the choice.

Either way, the tempering is done first and off site, because tempered glass has to be made to its final size. We field-measure the wall and lock every size and cutout with you before anything is ordered.

Glass instead of tile

Why people pick glass over tile

  • No grout. One continuous glass surface. Nothing to stain, discolor or grow mildew in the lines.
  • Wipes clean. Glass cleaner and a cloth. No scrubbing, no resealing, no special product.
  • Doesn’t hold moisture. Glass won’t absorb water, so it suits bathrooms and busy kitchens.
  • Takes the heat. Tempered glass stands up to the heat behind a cooktop.

Questions

Back-painted glass FAQ

Can a panel be cut down after it’s made?
No. The panels are tempered, and tempered glass can’t be cut or drilled once it’s made. That’s why we field-measure and confirm every size and cutout with you before anything is ordered.
How long does the color last?
The paint is bonded to the back of the glass and sits indoors, protected, so under normal interior use it won’t peel or flake with routine cleaning. It’s made for interior walls, not for a spot in direct outdoor sun.
What if a panel breaks?
Because it’s tempered, it breaks into small blunt pieces, not sharp shards. We keep your color and your measurements on file, so a matching replacement panel can be ordered and installed.
Can you make it in custom sizes?
Yes, we make it to fit your wall. Honestly, we haven’t found a size we can’t handle yet, so send us the wall and we’ll tell you straight. We’re licensed Nevada C-8 number 0004490A and rated 4.9 stars across 400+ Google reviews.
