The process
What happens in the first hour
We work the same way on every call, so you know what you’re getting.
- We answer and dispatch.You talk to a real person. We take the address and what’s broken, and we roll a truck.
- We secure the opening.We cover the hole with plywood or clear board, fastened to hold through wind and weather until the glass is ready.
- We clear the broken glass.Off the floor, off the sidewalk, out of the frame. The site is safe to walk when we leave.
- We photograph everything.Wide shots and close shots of the damage, dated, so you have them for the insurance claim.
- We write the scope.You get a written description of the permanent repair and what the glass will take to replace.

Before we leave, you get dated photographs of the damage and the board-up, an itemized scope of the permanent repair, and an invoice written the way an adjuster expects to read it. If your carrier wants the glass measured before they settle, we measure it on the first visit and put the numbers in writing.
Property managers call us back because of this. A clean claim file is the difference between a fast payout and a month of back and forth. We can send documentation straight to your adjuster if you want us to.

Which one you need
Board-up or same-day glass
Not every broken window needs a board-up. Here’s the honest call.
If the opening is exposed to the street, a break-in, or the weather, board it now and replace the glass later. That’s most emergencies.
If the glass is a stock size we keep, we can sometimes replace it the same day and skip the board entirely. Standard clear panes and common tempered sizes are the ones we can turn fast.
Most commercial glass is made to order. Tempered, laminated and insulated units have to be fabricated before they go in. We cut and fabricate in our own shop and order tempered units made to size, which is faster than a contractor who brokers the glass out, but it still takes time. So we board it first, measure it the same visit, and give you a real lead time instead of a hopeful one.
