What we fix
What we do to screens
Four jobs, and one of them is yours.

- Rescreen an existing frame. Your frame is fine, the mesh is torn or sagging. We pull the old mesh and roll in new. Choose this if the frame still holds its shape.
- Build a new frame. The frame is bent, cracked or corroded past saving. We build a new one to your window. Choose this if the frame won’t hold square.
- Repair a bent frame. A frame that’s tweaked but not gone. We straighten and re-mesh. Choose this if it’s close.
- Replace a sliding screen door. The patio screen that jumped its track or tore through. Choose this for a door, not a window.
Mesh options
Screen types and mesh options
The mesh is the choice that matters. Here’s what we roll.
- Standard fiberglass. The common gray mesh. Good visibility, low cost, the default.
- Pet-resistant. A heavier weave that stands up to claws and a dog leaning on it.
- No-see-um. A tight weave that stops the small biting insects a standard mesh lets through.

Desert climate
Sun damage in the Mojave
Screens fail faster here, and it’s worth knowing why.
Standard fiberglass mesh is plastic-coated, and Las Vegas UV is brutal on it. The sun dries the coating, the mesh goes brittle, and it tears or crumbles at a touch. A screen that would last years in a mild climate gives out early in full desert sun, especially on the south and west sides of the house. How long a screen lasts comes down to exposure. A west or south-facing screen ages faster than a shaded one. That’s why rescreening is a regular job here, not a once-in-a-lifetime one, and it’s why we build for this climate instead of guessing at it.

Screen doors
Screen doors
The patio screen door takes the most abuse in the house, so it has its own fixes.
- Sliding patio screens. Re-mesh or rebuild the door that jumped the track or tore.
- Retractable screens. The roll-away screen for an entry door.
- Pet doors. A pet flap built into the screen so the dog stops making its own.
For the glass patio door itself, not the screen, see Sliding Glass Door Repair.

How it works
How it works
Two ways to get it done, whichever is easier for you.
Bring the frames to the shop at 2825 E Fremont St and we turn them fast, often next day. Or we come to you and measure, pull and refit on site. Mobile service saves you hauling frames around; the shop drop-off is usually quicker. Tell us which suits you.
What it costs
Pricing guidance
We price every screen individually, and the written quote is the number, no surprises.
Rescreening an existing frame is the cheaper job, since we reuse the frame you already have. Building a new frame to your window costs a bit more. The number depends on the size, the mesh and whether the frame is reused. We price the actual job when we measure, so send us a photo or the frame count and we’ll give you a written quote.
